This page explains what information the Paydos mobile app (the “App”) processes, which services it uses, and how that data is handled.
The App collects no personal information — no name, email, phone number, location, photos, or contacts — and sends no data to any server of ours. Paydos has no server, database, or analytics of its own.
The duration you set, the allowed-apps list you choose, and the PIN you pick are stored only in your device's local storage. Uninstalling the App removes them from your device.
The App uses Google AdMob to show ads, which means your device's advertising ID is shared with Google. See section 03 for details.
The App needs a few Android permissions for its lock feature to work. Each one is used only for the purpose listed below:
The App shows ads through Google AdMob. All of them are aimed at the parent and appear in three places: a banner on the setup screen where the parent starts the lock, an interstitial right after the lock is lifted with the correct PIN, and a banner on the lock screen that appears only once the “Are you a parent?” link is tapped and the PIN field opens.
The “time's up” screen the child sees when a session ends shows no ads, and the lock screen's banner is not even loaded unless the PIN field is opened.
To deliver and measure ads, AdMob may collect data such as the advertising ID, device information, and approximate location. The advertising ID is not your name, email, or phone number, and it can be reset from your device settings. Google's handling of this data is governed by its privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy — and for ads specifically, policies.google.com/technologies/ads
You can turn off ad personalization or reset your advertising ID from Settings → Google → Ads on your phone.
While a session is active, the App shows an ongoing notification with the time remaining. It is created entirely on your device; no server is involved and no data is sent.
The App uses only the following Google service and shares data with no other third party:

The App is built for a parent to manage a child's phone use, but it collects no personal data from either the child or the parent, creates no account, and asks for no contact details. It keeps no record of who is the child and who is the parent — whoever knows the PIN is treated as the parent.
Your duration, allowed-apps list, and PIN are stored in your phone's own storage (Android SharedPreferences). The PIN is stored as a salted SHA-256 hash, never in plain text — the App cannot “read” your PIN, only check whether what was entered matches.
The answer to the recovery question you set in case you forget your PIN is stored the same way, as a SHA-256 hash with its own salt; the answer itself is never kept. The question's text isn't stored either — only its position in the App's built-in list of questions. This data also stays on your device only.
Because this data lives only on your device, uninstalling the App or clearing its data from device settings removes it completely.
Since no personal data of yours is stored on any server of ours, there is no record for us to delete or disclose. Even so, you can reach us at the address below with any question or request about this policy.
